Hair Cocktails: Shea Moisture & Cantu Shea Butter
I have mixed/used together to achieve a certain style that did not cause any product buildup, crunchiness, nor dryness, etc.
Shea Moisture’s Organic Coconut & Hibiscus Hold & Shine Moisture Mist
Cantu Shea Butter for Natural Hair Coconut Curling Cream
Both products were applied to dry hair.
MY goal was to “wake-up – refresh my curls” without having to completely wet or shampoo my hair.
Present style was: pin-up with curls loose.
1st – I sprayed my hair with Shea Moisture’s Hold & Shine Moisture Mist to get it “damp”…to wake those curls on up!!
2nd – I “sparingly” applied Cantu’s Coconut curling cream in desired areas (you can apply all over your hair….dependant upon on the desired style). When I applied the cream I did twist my hair in the direction of the curl.
I did not add anything additional to my hair, nor did I blow-dry/steam my hair. I simply left it as is. It dried nicely and quickly. No frizzies. Just “awakened curls”.
Disclaimer: I am NOT a hair stylist nor do I claim to be. Hair cocktails are based upon MY experience- trial and error. What may have worked for ME, may (yaay) or may not (sad face) work for you. But its worth a shot to try it out. What do you have to lose…smile!!!
